Sundown 

V.I.P Vinnie is now retired from Eventing. He is going to be loaned out and have a career in Dressage.  We will be forever grateful for everything that was achieved with him and everything he taught us. 

Purchased as a 4 year old and was obviously talented from day one. He hasn’t disappointed since.  He loves to be the centre of attention and has always been top dog. 

He likes to perform on the big stages and they bring the best out in him. He now realises there are some young guns around and let's them know who's boss! 

His dressage has improved hugely over the years and we look forward to his future success.

Following XC retirement at his first 5* Vinnie had 2022 on the sidelines and although he competed at the beginning of 2023 it was decided that he should be retired from Eventing. 

Achievements:

2021

3rd After Dressage at his first 5* at Bicton International. Sadly I had to pull him up after the second fence on the xc as I felt a change in his stride pattern. I am so glad I noticed as he injured a tendon. I don't like to imagine what would have happened had I not felt this. Nothing like the HIGHS and LOWS of the sport all in the space of 24 hours at the highest level.

I am excited to work with Matt and Lisa who use their huge amount of knowledge to ensure our horses are comfortable in the mouth therefore maximising the trainability, development and contentment.  

When they came to assess all the horses I noticed an improvement in all of them and was surprised how many horses have low upper palates.  My go to on many of the horses is the loose ring comfy barrel.

I recommend you have a bitting assessment for your pony or horse and see the difference for yourself.
